Original preparation pathway: control a variable, observe a result and evaluate a model. The newly audited IX science chapters now have separate subject pathways.
Each step connects a clear learning objective with something you can investigate.
Make a prediction, control a variable and record evidence. Compare what a model shows with the question it can answer.
Build a complete conducting path. Observe how an open switch, an absent component or a changed resistance affects the model.
Plan a simple comparison that changes one variable and explain a limitation of its conclusion.
Identify a closed circuit and explain how the battery, bulb, wires and switch work together.
Bring your curiosity. These introductory experiences provide their own guidance, and you can revisit any step.
Choose one experiment. Describe what you predicted, what you changed and what you observed. Then explain why the outcome makes sense.
Which observation supports your explanation? What would happen if you changed a different variable?
Find an everyday situation that follows the same idea. Explain where the laboratory model helps, and where the real situation is more complicated.

Original activities, questions, reading passages and fictional archives. A curricular connection does not make a Bodhi activity an official NCERT exercise. Broader grade adaptation awaits educator review.
Mapping scope: This remains an original cross-cutting pathway, not an official chapter title. The IX Science syllabus and current Exploration chapter titles were subsequently inspected; their dedicated mappings are recorded separately.
