Curiosity is for everyone
A laboratory you can navigate.
This application is designed for keyboard access, readable text and controls that work on phones as well as desktops. Accessibility is an ongoing process; this release does not claim independent certification.
Keyboard and screen readers
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls, Enter or Space to activate buttons, and arrow keys to adjust sliders and select options. The first focusable link skips the navigation. Mobile navigation closes with Escape. Interactive diagrams have textual summaries and labelled controls.
Learning map
The learning map has an accessible list view. Graph nodes also support Tab, Enter and Space. Prerequisites, dependents and the reasons behind connections appear as text next to the diagram.
Motion, colour and sizing
The interface respects your device’s reduced-motion preference. Correctness and completion use text as well as colour. Browser zoom remains enabled, and mobile layouts stack controls to preserve usable touch areas.
Equivalent interactions
The history timeline includes move-earlier and move-later buttons instead of requiring dragging. Science and geography labs use labelled sliders and connection buttons. The reading investigation uses selectable evidence with explanatory feedback.
Known limits
SVG models are schematic and may need the accompanying textual outputs for full interpretation. Open reflection text has a completion rubric rather than automatic quality assessment. If a lab is hard to use, switch to its explanation, hints or related concept page.
