Your discoveries belong to you

Privacy & local data.

What this release stores

The laboratory has no account, payment system, analytics integration or remote progress database. When you open a lab, it records an experience identifier and exploration time in your browser’s local storage. Completing a lab also stores the completion time, your prediction and reflection, and whether you passed its knowledge check.

Where your data lives

Progress uses the browser key bodhi-labs.progress.v1. It stays in this browser on this device. Anyone who uses the same browser profile can see it. It is not encrypted, synchronised, backed up or sent to Bodhi by this application. Avoid entering names, contact details or private information in your reflections.

Control your progress

Visit My learning to review your saved reflections or clear all progress. You can also remove the site’s stored data through your browser settings. If storage is unavailable, the labs still work and progress lasts only for the current session.

External links and hosting

Official curriculum references open the publishers’ websites, which have their own privacy practices. The website host may process technical request information such as IP addresses and access logs under its own policy. Fonts and the Bodhi logo are served with this application.

Before a wider production service

This page documents the current local prototype. Accounts, cloud progress, analytics, communications or other data collection would require a revised privacy policy, appropriate safeguards and an age-appropriate consent and access design before release.
