Regroup a cargo ledger, dispatch a shipment, and check the remaining quantity by addition.
Shipment columns require 0 ten thousands, 1 thousand, 7 hundreds, 5 tens, 8 ones. You must actually exchange tokens before dispatch; typing the answer alone cannot supply evidence.
The small squares are token samples; the labelled number states the exact count. Each column's label determines each token's value.
Investigation 02
A different station holds 7,004 cargo units and sends 2,856. A trainee subtracts the smaller digit from the larger in each column and reports 5,852. Test that report and supply a checked replacement.
Tokens model exact whole-number cargo units in five place columns. A token is a labelled quantity, not one physical box. Valid exchanges preserve value; dispatch deliberately removes value. This original task maps selected place-value and regrouping objectives from NCERT V, not every travel puzzle or number skill.
