Opening your next discovery…
Can you plan a route and explain it so another explorer can follow?
A prediction is a starting idea. You can revise it after exploring.
Use at least 40 characters and include an observation. Your writing is saved as evidence; it is not automatically judged for accuracy.

This is an original Bodhi learning activity. Official references establish its curriculum context, rather than endorsement of the simulation or complete syllabus coverage.
Full chapter text. Full official chapter text inspected for the stated objective; Bodhi does not reproduce its exercises or illustrations. Inspected scope: chapter.

Mapping under review · 2026-10-21Investigation 01
Start at the camp (C). Visit the post office (P) to collect a notebook, then reach the library (L). Avoid striped closed paths. Every arrow moves one grid cell; north is up. There is more than one valid route.
Key: C = camp; P = post office; L = library; H = hospital; Tree = park; × = closed cell. Coordinates count from the top left.
Explorer at column 1, row 5. No moves yet. Steps: 0. Post office not visited.
Investigation 02
A visitor starts at H, column 6 row 4. Which place does H represent, and in which cardinal direction is the park at column 6 row 1? The map stays north-up regardless of which way the visitor faces.
Original schematic neighbourhood, not an actual place. Class V NCERT Maps and Locations supports cardinal directions, keys and route interpretation. Grid coordinates and closed-path constraints are scaffolding. Cell steps are not kilometres and do not prescribe a numerical map scale.
